Everyone talks about HP! Why HP its nothing with out TQ, Max TQ on a S-60 is 1650 from factory. Thats why the egr engins get smoked by the OLD N-14 HP is nothing with out TQ. there is no reason to spen 5,6 hundred on HP when no tq is being added, Think of it this way. TQ gets you going, HP keeps you going, HP is nothing on a hill. Its all TQ. 1000hp is nothing, Thats why John force doesn't pull a sled behind is dragster!

Mainly when we talk the hp, we already know what the torque is going to be. With a generic statement like; "I want 400hp from my DT466", you can pretty much guesstimate the tq will be about 2.5 times that. Then, with a Cat 3406 and making 600hp. You can figure almost 4 times that. S60 is a similar deal. I havent seen any hp mods that didnt add tq on a diesel....ever.

id be weary of rerating any 60 over 500hp...maybe the dd15, but not the 60...make sure if ur reflashing ecms with this, ur aware of warranty voids, and that the programmer does not change vehicle id, parameter passcodes for DDEC...

Ive heard alot of good things from PittsPower... may be your best option...DDEC rerates from the dealer arent worth the money....

Bruce Malison at Pittsburg Power is doing an 05 now in his shop and i will post when i have more info on it.They have already done a DDEC4 just working on the DDEC5, since the 05 and up has a totally differnt ecm. If it was a pre EGR engine i can get you all the power you want for under $500.00, but the new ones are way to complicated to do that.
hi im bringing a tread back from the dead! im interested in getting more power for my 60 series 12.7L non egr. do u still do that? thanks
