When I tested for my CDL it was on a Quad box. I’m not sure if we still have a dump truck sitting in the yard that has one in it or if it got cut up last time the scrap cutters came out.

I’m sure this is where the ruse about shifting gears in an intersection came into play.

Always fun to watch that.

We have two trucks with "brownies." Fun to drive with practice...humiliating when out of practice.

how many gears are there in this one i counted a total of 15 shifts on the main box. would that be a 5 and a 4 sorry if its a dumb question but im still a young fella im used to splittin gears with my thumb

Now that takes me back!! I guess when I start whinning about the trucks my company buys I need to remeber the days with no a/c, power steering, stereo,cruise,and twin sticks! Good times!

I been drivin trucks off and on for over 20 years now between farm stuff and military and even a few dual sticks but I don't remember ever goin through all that.
