Default PureFlow Technologies Fuel Preporator for Class 8 Trucks

Just wanted to drop a line and encourage you guys who are looking for more performance and fuel economy out of your Class 8 trucks to give us a call. Our new fuel air separation system for class 8 trucks has been re-designed to make for a much easier installation and better performance.

As most of you probably already know, we improve fuel economy by removing the air from the diesel fuel which improves the spray pattern of the injectors and corrects the retarded timing which occurs in diesel engines. We improve fuel economy an average of 5-12% and help create more horsepower and torque. The system also prolongs injector life and smooths out the rough idle.

Air is extremely hard on the injectors. The best analogy that I can give for this is your garden hose. When you hook up your hose in the spring and squeeze the trigger you get that spitting and sputtering out of the nozzle because of the air/water combination in the hose. Same thing that occurs with an air/fuel in your injectors except at much greater pressure.

The new system is a demand flow system, which recycles the unused fuel inside of the unit itself and only returns a trickle of fuel back to the tank. Because of the low volume of return, this can be tied into the factory return line, eliminating the need to route return lines to each separate tank.

I have attached a few testimonials from our customers.

J. Driesen, Rustic Log Home Builders LLC,
Having run a 1998 production of the Fuel Preporator®, and taking the time to visit your web site to see what is going on with you folks is extremely interesting to me. I still run the same Fuel Preporator® on my reworked 350 hp 855 Cummins engine while everyone else buys this new emissions equipped junk. If there has ever been one piece of equipment that I have enjoyed running on this old 855 Cummins, it has been the Fuel Preporator®. I often marvel when I stop after a pass or climb and I see the old gal idle like a tuned sewing machine. It is totally amazing. I remember putting the Preporator on the old 350 hp Cummins and shortly after that I rebuilt the engine and powered up to 500 hp, but the Preporator did give a very noticeable mileage increase both before the rebuild and after.

West Virginia University
The University utilized a Caterpillar 3306 engine on a stationary test stand. Results included:
• Doubling of torque at idle and substantial increase at low engine speeds
• "Very effective in removing air from the fuel supply system."
• Increased fuel flow to the engine

Pride Transportation
Pride installed the Fuel Preporator® system on a 1998 Freightliner Century, with a Cummins N14-525 engine.
• Fuel consumption improved .8 miles per gallon, from 6.5 mpg to 7.3 mpg
• Increased torque range of engine resulted in improved trip "% Distance at Max Speed" of 5.39%, from 16.44% to 21.83%. This increased driver efficiency (reduced trip drive time) by increaseing the average drive speed from 48.56 mph to 52.23 mph. Net driving time saved on trip of 9,522.5 miles was 13.79 hours, equating to 720 additional revenue miles driven without increasing hours on driver's log.
• The test truck had 208,794 miles on its odometer. If the Fuel Preporator® system had been installed on the tractor from its original service date, a reduction of 302.1 Log Hours of driving time could have been realized, or an additional 15,788 revenue miles could have been achieved, assuming an average speed of 52.23 mph.
• Fuel filters were replaced every 80,000 miles.

Bentext Services Inc.
"I am a believer in Fuel Preporator®. We have equipped our entire fleet since 1998. We are one of the top fuel mileage fleets around." After installing the Fuel Preporator® systems on its fleet and averaging 6.8 mpg over the course of three years, Bentex was commended by Detroit Diesel for the outstanding fuel performance of its fleet.

I look forward to speaking with anyone who has questions about our Fuel Preporator systems and what benefits that our systems will give your truck.

Thanks,

Ron Schieferdecker
