I tried running straight pipes on my series 60 in my int. but they didn't stay on there very long, had to take them off there were way to many people complaining about them(one was the lady in the quarrie scale house she said she was tired of pickin the picture up off the floor every time I went by)plus i couldn't hear the radio or cb

If the shifts were done properly you would never hear the jake.

I am assuming in the video he is doing it for effect.

Jake shifting is not easy, you have to be fast, my father has it mastered, me not so much, but he leaves his jake on most of the time and you can't tell.

But if done improperly it can do bad things to a truck.
