Default 1985 466T?

bought a series S 1954 with a auto......turbo has a crack in the housing at the bearings and blows oil out of it......need to replace the turbo what would be the best replacement for it when i turn it up a bit?.....thanks to all who reply's....

A GT40 from a newer 466 or 530, or a Holset HX40 from a Cummins 8.3. If you plan on bigger power, you can try an HX50.

thanks for the reply......to use a HX40 how much modding has to be done to it to make it work?

Basically a new down pipe, and adapt the other hoses to fit. The oil feed & return lines should bolt in place.
