Default Winter front for Dodge Ram

Tough 1/8" ABS plastic that bolt on to your grille to reduce the cold air flow under hood in winter.. Does not restrict intercooler function. helps engine warm up faster. No drill. Price range from $35 to $50 depending on model. call me at 801-599-7877 for price. or email me at ericbu12@yahoo.com

T-Bone,

I did and I have a few sets left.. The problem is that it is hard to mount. and the radiator is too close to the panels.. I use J-hooks to mount and it is sorta hard to mount....I made it years ago by a guy that sent me a pattern. If it is really cold like below 30 deg then it would be beneficial.. would not recommend it for near 60.. would have to remove a couple for more air.. If you want a set, I'll sell it to you for $20. Email me at ericbu12@yahoo.com

I can attest to the quality and ease of use of Eric's winter fronts. I have been using his fronts for three years and think they are the best. I highly recommend the winter fronts that Eric makes.

Default 1st Gen Solution is Easy

I made a set like that myself I used for a year on my 1st Gen and like Eric said they are a PITA. Hard to install and you have to remove one or more any time the temp goes up to keep from overheating. Best 1st Gen solution is just put a piece of cardboard between the I/C and radiator if/when you need it on the coldest days. Easy in/out and lets the I/C have cold air all the time.
