Looking for Tiregate tailgate
Anyone here able to fabricate a tiregate? I've seen them on several trucks and found them online but the $1100 price tag is high on a budget. Looking for someone in the Indiana,Illinois, Kentucky area able to do the work. Message me or email me at tnich1972@yahoo.com

If you can provide the design you want and have your spare rim and tire with you then they can make anything.
I prefer to do all my own work. So a bit of looking at designs online and some measuring. Then a trip to the local steel supply shop (dont go to lowes or home depot, youll get raped) I ended up spending $51 out the door at the steel shop. Spent another $7 on the oem dodge gold from auto zone and I had myself a tiregate. Mine holds a 35" tire verticlly. I also used locking tow hitch pins from harbor freight to secure it. Im going to redesign the frame and hinge one side since I only open it one way. Also going to make it so I can lock the gate open, otherwise the tire gate can swing all the way open and damage your bed. Mine also holds a farm jack.
