Default Stiction! Stiction? Stiction@#*!@

Whoever the first guy was that uttered the word STICTION was dead on! It is about 80% of the problem with injectors. If you have tried all the other products and were disapointed in how long it lasted and how much it cost then you found the right guy. I have developed a cure that is so good and I am so stoked about it I just have to get it out to everyone that I can because it is going to save you thousands of dollars and countless headaches! Warning! Your mechanic aint gonna like it! That is until he puts it in his own motor! I am so stoked that I am willing to give out some free samples to the first responders. If you think your truck is suffering from stiction then drop me a line along with your ship to info and I will send you a quart of my homebrew fix. Please remember that I am a home brew guy but I am also an engineer. I can tell you I have been running it in my own truck with no adverse effects for several oil changes and about 15,000 miles with no problems. Still I must insist on a disclaimer that you use the product at your own risk. Having said that I can assure you that it contains nothing that would damage your engine. So if you have crappy cold performance and sometimes no start when hot or even loping when it kicks into overdrive then this product is a good try for you. My test vehicle is a 2003 F250 6.0 PSD

are you the same guy that has been spamming my email inbox with this crap? be forewarned that I am not promoting any of the links below, members click them at your own risk....

I need some help but I also am bringing some help, that is to the diesel truck community. I have already posted a couple of replies on threads and would like to tell more but I don’t want to break your forum rules. I would like to tell your forum users about a product that I developed for my truck and now I have made it available to the world. The trouble is the “world” cant find it. I need to advertise it or share it somehow but most forums don’t allow that. So my question to you guys is how can I do that on your forum without breaking your rules.

So let me tell you about my truck.
I have a 2003 Ford F250 Lariat with a little over 110K on it now. When I got it I drove down to Florida from Indiana to pick it up. I bought it on Ebay for a very low $10,000 three years ago with only 80K mile on it. I got a great deal because the odometer would not light up and this created an odometer descepancy on the title. When it finally did get fixed the title already reflected the miles problem so the dealer couldn’t get any interest in the truck so he sold it for what he had in it to me!

Anyway I got the truck home and realized I had no idea what I had bought. I knew nothing about the PSD 6.0 under the hood. I have always been a huge gear head and have rebuilt numerous hot roads including several GTOs from the sixties. Cars, Cars, Cars, and trucks, always loved them and loved working on them. So I poured myself into learning everything I could about the motor and the whole truck really. I have now done many motor mods that you can see some of at Oil Cooler Upgrade Power Stroke Diesel I have also done a front and rear lift. It had rear end sag so I lifted the rear 4” and the front 3”. I also added an edge tuner but more for just getting data then rodding it. I have not put in the MRP studs so I don’t want to blow head gaskets. I also added a 36 gallon tank in the bed and created an on the go refueling system. I can now get all the way to Sebastian Fl from Anderson IN with only one stop for fuel. After lifting it I also added some 21” liquid metal moto rims and some great E rated tires that run 80 psi cold. The thing is a beast with no problems hauling a 13,500 lb trailer back and forth from IN to FL twice a year on 75 through the hills and all.

Anyway, in all my adventures with the truck through injector replacements, filter upgrades, fuel experiments, different oils, additives, etc. I finally decided that I wanted to develop an oil additive to make better drivability when cold and eliminate no hot starts due to stiction. Even after replacing injectors with either new or rebuilts I was still experiencing what could only be stiction that so many people described in blogs and forums. So I did more research, talked to mechanics, and even people that rebuild the injectors. My investigation led me to a final product that is so good that I can say with confidence that it will be highly sought once discovered. It very affordable and comes in as little as a 1 quart quantity. I has used HSS and I believe they have a great product, but in all honesty I think my product works better, much better, at least it does in my truck. So how do I go about advertising this product on your forum? I will gladly send you a sample of the product to prove my point if needed. All you need is someone on staff that has a PSD 6.0 that is running poorly and it will make believers out of you guys for sure.

I will anxiously await your reply.

You can see the product for sale at CCH Supply enter slickx in the search tool upper right side of page. It is currently on sale.

Best Regards,
Todd Utley,

Default No spam, not the meat the email type

No way, I am not a spammer, I don't like email spam either. On top of that I don't care for the kind in a can either. Nope I'm just a simple guy who has worked on cars and trucks all my life. A little over three years ago I bought my first diesel truck and had problems with it. Since I am a mechanic and later in life obtained a degree in engineering I am sort of like a country boy that got some extra education that's all. I developed some really great stuff that does resolve the stiction product. There are other out there that are priced higher and probably do the same thing. It is not a cure all obviously, and if there is a mechanical problem that needs fixing something from a can isn't going to fix it. I have probably come to the wrong place and that is becoming increasing obvious so I am going to refrain from any more post. I have posted enough. It is pretty hard to believe so as they say "if it's too good to be true then it probably isn't" in this case they would be wrong but they don't know that. I will just have to allow the product to gradually catch on.

so you are saying you are not Todd Utley or that you weren't trying to push your products on the site without paying which equals SPAM in my opinion.

I need to advertise it or share it somehow but most forums don’t allow that. So my question to you guys is how can I do that on your forum without breaking your rules.
I assumed this was a copy and paste email sent out to a lot of diesel sites, most of which were forums, but obviously not all of them since I got one.

To me that says it all. I have no affiliation with DB any more other than being one of the few members here that still care about this site. I respect the site enough to be fair to all the vendors that have paid for their vendor status and put the time into this site and into building a client base that returns as a repeat customer every time they need something.

The email above was sent to me through my website that is interdependently owned and operated by the LLC that I am the managing member of. It struck me kind of "odd" in how my site, that is set up to sell stuff and is not a forum, received an email about trying to sell something without looking like you are trying to sell something on a forum without breaking my rules. I have no rules on my site other than it has to be diesel related. You, along with anyone else on the interwebs, are free to sell stuff on my site, it is free to do, that is what it was built for.

I just get 20+ standard form emails, similar to yours above, a month with bogus BS crap of people wanting to link exchange etc. That is why I classified it as SPAM. Though when I saw your username and then read this post, I put 2 and 2 together.

I hope no offense is taken, but on Diesel Bombers if you want to push a product that is being sold on the internet, on a site that sells stuff, that is registered in your name, and is ran by a company you are the president of, then you are ultimately a vendor trying to sell stuff on a site that you have to pay to sell stuff on. At least that is how it was when I was on staff. You can also contact Internet Brands and talk to their advertising department. Last time I checked, they wanted roughly $550 a month to advertise here. That is a lot of money when you are trying to sell $12/bottle oil additive.

I hope you the best in your "homebrew" venture, maybe this product will be the new cheaper version of Rev-X....

Default Sorry!

Ok here is what I believe happened. I joined the Diesel bomber forum and got a welcome email from what appeared to be an admin guy but when I tried to reply it said that I had to post ten messages on the forum before I could contact the admin guy that sent me the message. This seemed weird but I thought, well that is their policy. So I looked further down the page and it said that I could contact the following list of individuals that were admin and I would get a response. So I clicked on the the first one in the list. That's it. I don't know how that got interpreted as SPAM but I sincerely apologize for any inconveniece that I caused you and I certainly did not want to upset anyone. So I will not post anything else on the site unless someone contacts me. I am trying to get a product out there but I am not practicing spam or anything like that. My name is Todd Utley and you can google it if you like. I am a small business owner and YES I am attempting to sell a product. That is why I asked about the rules. I will take my efforts elsewhere and if you are an admin guy like the original welcome message seemed to indicate then feel free to delete everything from the forum. I will find another way to get my message out there, it is not worth upsetting people over. Thank you for your patience with me and again I am sorry. You may here about the product again some day. My product name is SlickX Beta 2.0 If you do hear about it elsewhere I hope it is good reveiws and that you will remember me at that time and realize that I am a legitimate American just trying to share a cool discovery and help people save some bucks while making some bucks also. Since this is private message you can contact me if you like at 765-640-0348 or look at my websites Anderson Custom Electronics Manufactures National Stock Numbers & Supplies the Department of Defense, with hard to find components, wiring harnesses, and circuit board assemblies. We also sell Optics for High Performance LED Applications. or WireBasics, a Continuity Tester, Cable Tester, and Wire Harness Tester in one or CCH Supply I own these websites and the main business which is a small family owned business that makes Department of Defense cables and Wire Harnesses for our military folks. And no, it is not as lucrative as one might imagine. Regards, Todd Utley

While this may be somewhat correct, the email that I was sent was sent to an email address NOT listed or linked to on this site. The email I got was generated from my website, as I have a specific subject line that is automatically generated when it comes from my site so I can track where emails are coming from.

Not upsetting me, I am just laying the facts out for you on how this site was ran, it may be different now, but no one has corrected me and told me other wise.

I am not going to contact you about posting on here, so you might be waiting a long time. Obviously you do have useful info when it comes to the 6.0L from what I read about your oil cooler setup, any information is well appreciated. If you help just 1 person with your info you post then that should be proof enough that it is good info.

To me that IS spam, willingly pushing a product for sale when you are a business that is not a paying sponsor/vendor on the forum is SPAM. If you are a vendor, you have your own vendor section to post in about your products to not look like you are spamming the board.

I WAS and ADMIN but stepped down for personal reasons. I have contacted the Moderators and Internet Brands representatives to remove me from that list. I did not know it was there.

I sent you an email, in response to the email that I was sent about a site you can advertise on for free and post stuff for sale on. I hope to see you on there advertising your product.

Have a good day.

So how do I sign up to be a sponsor? I have been poking around in the site some and I see where I can make a donation and I can upgrade membership. I even viewed the current sponsor list but I never saw a link to become a sponsor.

You can send "Rob M." a message, he is the Internet Brands representative person on here, though he rarely post or responds to anyone, including the unpaid staff that run this site for free for him and Internet Brands so that he can receive a paycheck. You can google Internet Brands and see if there is any info on their main website about who to contact to ask about becoming a vendor. Be sure to have some Bayer asprin and an AED handy for when you have a heart attack when they tell you the current rates.
