Default l.e.d lights in '08 ford

Just put all clear lens l.e.d.'s on my flatbed. 4 oval stop/turn/tail's,4 oval clear b/u,2 amber marker, and 2 red marker.(btw, they look outstanding) I knew that the turns were going to blink too fast because l.e.d.'s don't pull enough juice. So went to NAPA,bought a grote l.e.d. flasher I went to put the S.O.B in and cannot find the O.E.M flasher. If anybody can help it would be much apprieciated?

I think it is a module that blinks the blinkers not a relay or a flasher tube. I know on the 3rd gen dodges you have to wire resistors inline to get them to work properly. I'm thinking the same with yours.

Makes a guy wonder why in the hell, they have a part no. listed for a flasher for that model truck? Thanks for the info. I've known several dodge guy's that have had hell with theirs was hoping it would be a plug'n'play fix.

Retro solutions have a resistor you can install to cure that. I just bought a couple last night.

They come with scotch locks or im guessing you can do it the right way and splice them in with head shrink and but connectors

I would use shrink tube and solder, don't use butt connectors they don't make a good connection plus they add more resistance. Just my .02 cents.

well i talked to the guy that built my bed.He sent me to the local ford dealer. 10 min.,and a little reprograming later PRESTO! No flasher,no wiring in resistors,no problem. So if you guy's do L.E.D lights take it to your dealer they can fix the "fast flash".
