Default GE unit attached to rear of cab

I've got the truck painted and started to think about cleanin up the interior and there is a pretty big General Electric unit attached to the rear of the cab I was told it was a fleet monitoring device but cant find any info on it i pulled it out and its heavy probably 20 pounds. I was wondering if it was worth anything before I tossed it in the trash.
