hi everybody ive got a full sized cb and keep looking for places to put it i know genos makes one i like it but dont want to pay 40 bucks for a piece of metal i could easily build i dont want to cut up my dash either im looking for a way to mount it cheap something i could build i was looking at mounting it on my headliner but dont like running wires and antenna cord to it, just wondering if any one has any ideas thanks for reading

i took out my cupholder that goes in the dash (it was broken like most are) and mounted it in that spot sticks out a bit but I actually like it alot

 

Most of the mounts that I've seen for the second gen Dodge Ram are an angled piece of metal to put it in the center of the front bench seat or put it where the cup holders are in the later models... To the right of the transfer case lever. Though that'd get in the way if you had a manual transmission.
