Default 1st gen speaker options

I can't find any 4x10's for Goldie, any other options with 1st gen regular cabs? 6x9's in a box won't fit without having to scoot the seat up, screw that. I wana try and keep my behind the seat tray as well.

kicker pioneer and kenwood all make good 4x10 replacements, Ive used all there in my full size blazer and burban before I sold them. they all seemed to perform and sound the same off my Alpine head unit, if there are any kicker dealers near you they can normally be ordered in for you easily. FYI the kicker model # is ks4100

I had some 4x10's in my old '87 Chevy. I replaced them shortly after listening to the difference between 4x10's, and 4" and 4x6's speakers. I suggest just putting some 4" round, or 4x6's speakers in. I found them to be better in every way, except filling the hole. I went with 4x6's.

4 x 10 Speakers | 4x10 Car Audio Speakers

Personally I would look at better speakers for the doors up front and put in some sound mat. You dont sit in the back so why put the sound back there.

If you can wait a few month I am replacing my entire system. I think I have the Kenwood speakers in my truck now they are about 5 years old. If you pay
shipping they are yours when they come out.

Custom boxes with 5.25" speakers. Should be able to slide them in the hole behind the B pillar. Least, thats what I am gonna do.

6X9's fit in the back with no probs we just put 4 in there we modded the factory bracket and cut a sheet of plywood then carpeted them to match they look slick they also fit in the doors with no issues we also ran 2 12's and 4200 wats
