97 ram infinity system w/new head unit sounds like crap

Default 97 ram infinity system w/new head unit sounds like crap
I have the ram w/infinty sys. put in a 9885 alpine deck and the speakers system sounds terrible is there something i did wrong used the install kit for the ram from best buy or is there something i can do to improve it are there better speakers i can install? any help would be appreciated thx everybody
