they were badass compaired to any other 15 i had had up to that time.... remember this was right before they were released to the public..... with the right crossover and headunit they were awesome..... just make sure you have a good clean amp, a good clean signal going to the amp and all will sound good..... rember you can never have too much clean power.... you can always turn the gains down.... i'd rather have a clean 2000 watts on a 500 watt sub than 1000 dirty distorted watts on a 500 watt sub.... the distorted signal will accually tear up a voicecoil up quicker than clean power..... clean power all you have to keep an eye on it the thermal energy that is being absorbed by the subs..... distorted will build more heat than clean..... if you are going to buy a nice sub please buy a nice amp and headunit...... and i always give more props to someone who had nice clean bass than to someone who has loud distorted bass.....

cool.... have fun with them and be responsible as i'm partially deaf in one ear.... it sucks going to bed at night and hearing stuff when it is dead silent..... it's so bad i have to have the radio or tv on to be able to go to sleep..... you may think it's cool to have a loud stereo.... and it is.... there is just a time and a place for it..... and it'll catch up with you in a couple of few years..... it's been 7 years since i had mine together and my hearing is no better now than then...... remember that hearing won't repair itself.....
