Hello all
Just wondering if any of you put 6.5 " speakers in you rear doors of your 03 quad cab.
I currently have 5.25 " kickers and they seem to have a hard time keeping up with the 6x9 JL's I have in the front doors.
will i need to trim the door for the 6.5 to fit ?.

I put a set of JLs 6.5 comp in my front and rear doors. the rear doors required alot of work as the door isnt flat in that area. it was hard to trim the opening and build back up to get a good seal. if i were to do it again i would of put 5.25 in them. the rear doors aren't very deep so make sure your speakers will not contact the window regulater or glass. good luck!
