Default Mounted my CB...

Long story short, my dad was moved into a alzheimers home a few months ago, and when cleaning out his house I found this older Cobra 25 CB. I have no real use for a CB these days, used them alot when I was doing HWY work, but cell's have all but replaced them.

But it was his, and about the only thing I got out of the house so...

I need to drill a new hole in the mounting bracket to have the CB sit more parallel to the truck, but it fits good there.

Going to get a mount that puts it out on the front drivers side fender, had one on my 97 and it seemed to work good...

Tell you what, I am running out of space to put crap!LOL

LOL... Everyone asks about the switch panel... Its for a boat, most big boat retailers will have it or something like it. I do not know the brand anymore, been there for years.

Water injection, Air compressor, Strobes, Mirror heat... Two left over. I think I might put the CB on one, but I doubt it...

CB setup looks good. I pulled my asktray to see if one would fit there, but the plastic tabs broke when I tried to reinstall the ashtray. To top it off, the guy I borrowed the CB from lost his contract and moved back to Wisconsin.

I have a ashtray-sized opening in the dash and no CB to put in there.

Either build an oak box, or do like I do and use strap metal to make a mount that is screwed to the floor. You can tweak and adjust for optimum angle.
