Default MP3 Headunit

The time has come where I am sick and tired of carrying around a bunch of CD's and such just so I can have the music I want...Im looking for a headunit that has built in storage for MP3's and such...I know that they are out there but so far the biggest I have been able to find only has 512Mb of internal storage space and that is no where near enough to hold all the music I want to carry for long road trips...I know there are bigger/better units out there but I just havent been able to find them...Any advice would be greatly appreciated...

If worse comes to worse I will probably end up getting a Kenwood or Pioneer unit that I can plug my flash drive into..but I would really prefer to be able to upload the files directly to the unit...

The Pioneer Avic Z-2 has a 30gb hard drive. I think that'll hold your music for ya.

MY wife just bought a real cool charger, it is from energizer. You can charge it through the wall and then plug it into your Ipod, Dvd player or other small electronics. It was like 50.00 from best buy and it is the size of a small plate (very small) it could slide between your seats or even under them.

Im trying to get away from having stuff in the cubbies on the dash all together...I would really like to be able to run everything from just the head unit if I can..Less stuff in the truck to catch a thieves eye...

kenwood has a bunch of nerw units out. i got mine a few months ago and i love it. i have a bunch of 2 gig compact flash drive for my camera. so i use those. you can also use a laptop hard drive and thier software and have all of them , searchable by artist, genre, title etc. works cool. i have an 80gig drive i had in my old laptop. only pain in the bum is you hard rive has to be fat32 for it to work properly. but you can set up playlists for diffrent moods. they start at 169.
and go to 600 bucks. unless you want a dvd model then it 900. i have only changed my cd twice since i got it. and the headunit can control my satradio too.

The USB input gives you the ability to listen to the rights-protected files on a PlaysForSure™ MP3 player.
Does this mean that normal MP3 Files on a Jump Drive Wont Work?
