I have a ford f-250 90 with the x-tra cab and I put two lanzar shallow 12's in a custom box wit two inch ports and I have a orion amp and monster cable wire and four pioneer 6x9's and a 600$ pioneer deck and the truck sounds bad *** some people say mine hits harder than two deep 10's. but thats there opinion, and mine two. Orion amps are some of the best sounding amps out there

Default Crutchfield is the place to go for info, pricing, and good/decent brands...

YES SIR, go check out Crutchfield.com before you do any buying... I've installed dozens of systems and would highly recommend JL AUDIO... I've never had any other than JL Audio subwoofers in my own vehicles and it has always been worth the money and effort to get them... I've used Pioneer head units and mids/highs and have always been overly satisfied with thier options for fine tuning and longevity... As far as amps, there are many to choose from... Amps to power everything, or amps to power each part of everything (mono amps, two channel bridgable amps, 4 channel amps, 5/6 channel amps)... I've used MTX amps and have been impressed for the cash I spent and of course ANYTHING JL Audio makes will blow your socks off... Maybe Rockford Fosgate or MTX if your on a budget - JL Audio if you can afford it... Any questions hit me up man... there is a lot to a fine tuned system, but that's why we are here to help!
