Default trim/ fitting

alright so a friend got a radio for me and instead of one of those chinsey lookin adapting kits ive seen some guys do it woith diamond plate and would like to see piucks ohh and im also missinf the trim piece that clips on to it can i bypass that some how? thanks

If the trim piece your are talking about is the cage that goes around the unit and has bend tabs all over it, You can probaly go to your local stereo shop and get a left over or extra one from them. I needed one a while back and a shop gave me one for free. As far as using dimond plate I bet it looks good but for a 20 dollar install kit, Its the easiest way to go.
