I sent the pictures out to a couple of friends of mine, and they aren't sure if those are Pioneer speakers. They said Pioneer (normally) puts there name across the front of the speaker for automotive subs. They did say Pioneer put some subs that looked like these in home audio subs but there not sure which one's these are.

Sorry I couldn't be more help.

that or they are factory out of some vehicle. I'm 90% sure they aren't a boxed sub

My vote is that they are older woofers form home speakers! Probably 8 ohms. and only would handle about 100w.

I'm sure they are pretty old. The guy I got them from used them in his cavalier back when he lived in alaska 5-6 years ago. I'll see if he remembers were he got them. Either way, I guess I will put them in and see how they do. If the speakers blow at least I can get some new ones and these didn't cost me anything.

keep the boxes sealed. the pioneers are little subs not meant for alot of power at all. just keep it simple and that will be your best bet for now bro

Keep it sealed the bass is much tighter and will sound better IMHO.

Kinda looks like a radio shack special. No offense but hope when you said you got them for practilly nothing, you almost got paid for taking them.

I traded some junk in my garage that I never use. So far they sound pretty good and are holding up to the abuse.
