Sub And Amp En Route Part 3
#17
Nice!
Ive got a pair of Hertz HX300s (12" 1200w max) inverted in a dual 1cu/ft per side sealed box (a little small hence the inversion) powered by a Hertz EP1D amp and it pounds pretty good.
I too am very surprised at how well this dodge is insulated from the factory, inside its pounding like a ****, rearview mirror rattels off the windshield and ears are hurtin. then outside its hard to hear it at all with the windows up.
One thing i have to fix is a small rattle on the rear sliding window and it sounds like ive got a rattle in the rear drivers side, possibly the rear side window.

Nice set up's, can't have a vehicle go without a bit of show too.
All I have right now is alpine 6x9's JL 6" doors with tweeters, and my "little" JL 8" W7 in a dual ported 2.9 cu ft box running off of a kicker 750W.1 it kicks pretty decent for the size of the sub.
As for the rear slider in your your truck ykdave my F-150 had the same problem, it was just because the felts had worn out.
