hi everyone I just bought my pickup and I have to be honest the radio in my ford was better by a long shot and the speaker in the passenger front door makes death growls when I crank the volume so I want to upgrade everything from the deck to speaker wires and speakers ive always been fond of alpine stuff but just curious what you guys have to say and see if there any advice that would help thanks for reading

I don't like spending too much money on car audio, so i buy PIONEER or KENWOOD, I had a PIONEER & a JVC that went bad. The JVC came with the truck I bought back in 2002. In the past my KENWOOD was a great system until it was stolen, I bought a bottom of the line KENWOOD last THANKSGIVING & still working fine

I just installed an Alpine in my 09...... HUGE improvement over stock.

I used a kit from Crutchfield to fit the single din head in the stock spot and another to integrate my steering wheel controls and factory amp.

An hour of light soldering to connect the harnesses and 30 minutes of really easy install.

The passenger door speaker is probably roached though - time for new speakers in the doors.

Huge improvement for $200
