Im having issues with mt brakes
I replaced the wheel hubs both sides and after i installed them i would get a pulsing in the pedal like if the abs is engaging. But i have no light on the dash or nothing. I replaced the hubs again today thinking they were faulty. But still the same thing. Could anyone help me out?

 

Sounds like you got something between the hub mounting surface and the rotor...

 

Did you open the bleeder when you compressed the caliper piston? Pushing the fluid back against the ABS is a big no-no and will screw up the ABS controller.

 

There is no need to open the bleeder Done it hundreds of times with no issues.

 

Doubtful that statement is any where near the truth.

If you had done it hundreds of times on a 4 wheel ABS system you would not have done it hundreds of times a 4 wheel ABS system. Unless of course you enjoy buying expensive ABS controllers but that is another story. The correct way is opening the bleeder when compressing the piston.

Let me reiterate, NEVER back pressure 4 wheel ABS systems from the caliper or you WILL be replacing expensive brake controllers. Not a matter of if, only when.

 

So why we have put zero abs modules in at out shop? Besides electrical failures. Opening the bleeder is fine, but if you don't want to take the time to re-bleed everything there is no need to open it. I would find a scan tool that can see the wheel speed sensors and see which one is fluctuating.
