My AC system will not work even after i have recovered and charged the system. Does anybody know where to find a diagram for the whole system with parts placement included. Its summer time and hauling hay is not so nice when its hot!!!!

My 2001 did the same thing and turned out to be the compressor clutch not working. A reputable AC shop should figure it out in a few minutes. They're not very complicated.

Compressor failure is high on these due to bad condensor cooling I'm going on my 3rd compressor! You have to have a Aux fan mounted on the condensor to cool it or you wil run into extremely high pressures that fry the compressor. If you charged the system that means the compressor is working 1lb 14oz of freon is all it needs! Did you replace the dryer and oriface tube? If not do it again! but make sure you have air blowing across the condensor!

another thing you may want to check, AFTER you get it working is your clutch fan. i had changed mine out because it had excessive wobble to it, and now when it idle's for a few mins and i take off i can definatly hear it! and before i heard nothing. so it may not be pulling enough air because the clutch is out and its not engaging the fan.

Make sure the clutch is engaging. If its not check for power at the clutch. If you have power there and its not running time for a new comp.

Default Thank you

Thank you guys. I ordered a Temp. Sensor Switch not sure if it will do any good but i figured I would start with the cheapest easiest part and work my way up. But for sure if that doesnt work I will definatly see about the compressor and whatever else may be the problem.

Just take it to a shop instead of guessing. Normally what I see is people throw $1000 in parts with out fixing the issue and we can diagnosis it fairly quickly and actually save you money.
