The LMM forum is down, but this issue should be universal. I noticed today that I have a small oil leak no higher than the pan and it is a spot on the front passenger side corner of the pan and is only bad enough to run down the pan a bit, it does not drip. Also, my engine does not use oil and is currently at the top of the 'F' on the dipstick. Is that normal?

 

is it possibly transmission fluid? I know that the transmission cooler lines leak on the passenger side

 

The transmission cooler lines were replaced about 5K ago, so no leaks there, and it is definitely oil. It is black and in a spot where it looks to have been for a while it has thickened to grease.

 

could be just a slight leak in your oil pan gasket?

 

I guess it could be. How hard is it to fix?
