I m wanting to gotcha feature tried on in my 2011, but the stealership wants $100 to do so, is there another way to do so??

Pay $900 for a Mini Max and it's included with their tuning. If you don't plan on deleting I'd pay the cash to the dealer and just get it done. I like mine for year round use, especiallly since it's not driven very much; really cleans the crap out in a hurry.

BTW: check other dealers in your area, as that price seems out of line. IIRC I could have gotten the update (along with DRL's) for about $40, but maybe suffering from CRS again.

 

If you have an auto it's already enabled from the factory.

If it's not, it would be a warranty claim.

So what's the exact steps to turn it on?

 

It's in the owners manual as well.

While engine is ruining and Trans in park, turn on cruise control

Push "set" on cruise

Engine will idle approx 1000 rpm

Push "accel" button to raise rpm in approx 100 rpm increments up to 1600 rpm.
