I have a 2004 dodge 5.9 cummins and I am in the process of buying injectors and I was wondering how to tell the differance in a 2004 and a 2004.5? Also I wld like to have some opions on what kind of injectors I should go back with and were wld be the cheapest place to buy them.

Look at the tag on the valve cover...if it reads 305HP its an 04, if its 325HP its an 04.5...

 

Ok thanks you were a big help mine was made in febuary and it says 325hp

What wld b the easiest way to tell which injectors r bad on my truck im going to try to replace them myslef.

 

Build date on the drivers side door panel. If it's late 03, be an 04. If it's early 04, be an 04.5
