I just bought a 1999 dodge cummins and am wanting more power. I've looked at every programmer out there and cant make up my mind what to get. Its a stock automatic transmission that i plan on building this fall but just want something for the time being. Any suggestions?

 

i have a quadzilla xzt in my 99 cummins and i like it it gave me a nice kick it was a really easy install and the 3 selection toggle is handy too. but if you want big power out of a box i would go edge comp. or something to that nature i just bought this cuz it was affordable on my low.. low budget.

 

What are the different power levels on that one?

 

I am a fan of Edge. If you plan on installing gauges, I'd go with a Edge Comp. If you want an "All in one" programmer, a Edge Juice with attitude(EJWA). Both have 5 levels of power, but the EJWA has a 6th level available for a fee. To save your transmission, don't tap the pump. It will act like a 60hp programmer until the pump is tapped. Once the trans is built, tap the pump and hold on!
