Default Disabling pilot injection

Ive owned vp and p7100 cummins and my buddy just got a 6.7 cummns with egr and dpf delete with a smarty. Can u disable pilot injection with the smarty and if so what are the pros and cons of doing this and what exactly does this do!! Thanks for the input.

I dont know if it can be disabled but the purpose of the pre injection is to pre warm the chamber.................its all about a more complete burn and better emmissions

also the post injection does the same thing it just burns up any residual fuel

I know it was tryed on the 5.9 common rail. Why it didn't work I don't know. But if I remember right smarty was the company trying it.

You cannot disable it with the smarty....yet anyways. (Don't quote me on it but I think they may be working on it...)
