Ok so here's my dlima my edge ez is crapping out and edge is gonna give me a discount on a new chip a new ez would be 350 and I could get a comp box for 450 which is even a bigger discount than the ez but I'm just worried about my transmission it has a shift kit and has been rebuilt about 50,000 ago and that's it. What do you guys think the extra HP would be nice.

You should be okay running the comp on lower levels. Just make sure you have gauges. Don't go hog wild with the comp until the tranny is set to take it. If you keep out of it you could run level 5 but it'd be safer lower. If you skip the pump tap it'll run like an ez until you have supporting mods
