Default Lastest build date for a OBS

Im just curious to what the last build date of a OBS? Mine says 12/97 and i noticed it has some of the same parts as a SD like the air intake boot. Is there any other SD parts on the late OBS trucks?

I have noticed the older 97s built before 6/97 (I Think) have that aluminum intake boot and the newer ones have the SD set up. I also noticed the 97s have a different tailgate rather than the ones that have the plastic strip that says ford, they are just plain and have the blue oval on the right bottom corner, i once herd the 97s were frankenstein trucks due to all the different parts they used

The intake isn't difficult to change. I wouldn't go so far as to say its a frankenstein year.
