southbend clutch sticks
when shifting fast/hard i push the clutch in all the way with the engine at higher rpms the clutch wont disengage until i let off of the throttle and push the clutch pedal back in, like the clutch gets stuck on the transmission input shaft because its not long enough. (just what it feels like not sure that is what is actually happening.) any ideas about what might be the cause of this?
i can relate, i have one in my SD and i'm trying to debate if its the trans or the clutch. it likes to hang up in gear, and if you're on a hill if you push the clutch in it won't roll until you hit nuetral then back in gear. what material do you have for the disc?
i have the organic disc rated to 375hp. i havent had the problem on a hill not many hills around here (SW Kansas) big enough for that to happen. but mine only does it when i depress the clutch as far down as the pedal will go. (shifting like a kid in high school jaming gears, for lack of a better way of saying it.) when im driving normally i dont push the pedal that far in, just far enough to switch gears and it doesnt do it.
im down in the big town of liberal. is there a pedal stop or could i put in a pedal stop to keep from pushing the clutch all the way in because this only happens when i push the pedal all the way down like it tries to push the clutch to far.
