Ok guys, this very well could be a dump question but here it goes anyway. I have had my 05 for about 3 months now and want to install a 2um filter inline. I alread have 2 Baldwin FB1311 filter bases, one is going to be for the BF1212 water sep. and the other is for the BF7633 filter. I also run a Baldwin PF7977 in the factory can.

Anyway, how the heck do I splice into the factory hard fuel line to install my new big filters? I see guys using rubber fuel line with pushlock style fittings but how did they get that far? Help please!

HI,

I just ditch the hard line and put in a hose barb on the truck fuel heater/filet housing up front and then run 3/8 rubber line front tank to filter and then to the heater/filter.
