Hi all, purchase a cheap 2004 6.0 to swap into my 2006 e450 6.0 which failed because the lifter bearing had failed and tore up the oil pump and timing cover. The pins were also in the oil pan. My question is the 2004 a straight swap or does it require heavy modifications. The picture shows the rear housing of the engine to be different from my 2006 6.0 and the high pressure oil pump also looks different. The housing for the oil cooler on the 2003 looks different from the 2006. Do they use the same oil coolers.
