i have a 99 dodge here with a 24 valve cummins that has about a 10 second time before the wait to start light comes on. Before the light comes on engine will crank but not start. once light comes on it will start right up no problems.
With a test light the number 7 terminal on the injection pump VP44 is delayed getting power. number 7 is the +12 volt supply wire. the WTS light doesent stay on for more than 1-2 seconds.


the truck has a new vp44 and ecm put on in the last month but just started to have start problem.
