Probably even a kid knows the info i need,but here in Italy u.s.a. trucks are really rare...
so i've to ask here!!!

I want to buy a diesel truck... i don't know if dodge,ford,chevy... really...
I've found some info on the engines: 5.9 - 6.7... cummins,duramax,powerstroke... 12v - 24v... LLY - LBZ... 6.0 - 6.4 - 6.7... pros & cons...

BUT WHAT ABOUT THE (AUTO) TRANS???
Are all the autotrans the same?
Can someone explain me the specs of the different truck auto-transmissions???
Basically: number of speed (4? 5?? 6???),possibility of "manual / sequential" shifting and so on...
My target is a diesel,dually,automatic truck... not too old,like '05 / '06 or newer...

Maybe something like: DODGE '03-'07 4speed '07.5-up 5 speed... CHEVY '06-'07 5 speed sequential... i just need the "basic" info!!!
