Default finally joined the first gen crowd

I picked up a 93 d350 with a auto approx. 164k miles today for $400. the bad is the engine does not run and is complete except for radiator and also the rear end is out from under it.

Can't go wrong at that price.

Since you are basically starting from scratch on the rear, I would look at some custom spring mount/hangars. The reason being, 1st Gen stock springs are not known for for their good ride quality, which is due mostly to the shorter length leafs they used. I would consider fabbing in some mounts to fit leaves at least a couple inches longer.

Well my plan is to get it to a roller and running first then decide what I'm gonna do custom.

ive already been thinking about 4linking it. im also trying to decide if its gonna get a manual swap.

HELL yes on the manual swap. A Cummins just Isn't right with a auto. Imho.

Well I finally got to tearing her apart lately here some pics. I also opened up the rear end and found what I think is a brand new set up in there.

I have been kicking some ideas around that may take this away from being a normal first gen rebuild. Let's just say she may be running a little different gwvr if my plans work out
