Default 7.3 running on 3 cylinders, fuel pump?

Was driving down the highway at 70 mph when all of a sudden the power was lost and engine light came on! Pulled over to the side of the road, did not shut it off, was idiling but very rough. No obvious liquids were on the ground, eased my way back home cause I did not want to leave truck, trailer, tools on the side of the road. Truck would not exceed 40 mph and was shuddering. Tried code reader last night and it said that the engine computer did not save any codes!!! Seems like there is no fuel delivery. Any thoughts? Do not want to take this to the dealer. I am a FIY guy!! Thanks for any imput. Hood is up now!

Default Fix your truck for a quarter!

Fixed this problem last Tuesday! Not sure why there was such a delay for this answer, everyone must be busy! After doing my research and discussion with other 7.3 owners, decided that this was a "injector wiring harness" issue that FORD it well aware of. The plug inside the valve cover had lost it's grip! Had to remove the valve cover to access this plug. Used my own "shim" to solve the problem with the plug. Fixed it for .25 cents(1 quarter), each side! FORD wanted $440.00 for this repair.
This plug becomes detached inside the valve cover and FORD has created a "shim" that they use to fix the problem. Just my own time to put the wrenches to it! Truck was going to be down anyway, what else was I going to do. See my picture of the "fix"!
