Default Remote start for 6.5?

I was curious if there is a remote start kid that exists for the 6.5 turbo diesel? I didn't think one did since you have to wait for the glow plugs but I thought I would ask in case a set up did exist....Anyone know?

Yes there is. Most remote starts have a diesel option. All they do is delay for a preset time.

All aftermarket alarms and remote start system are universal. You may have a specific interface module but that will be the only thing specific and it won't be to the 6.5l it will be to the model.

Carbine plus6900 convertable package is what I bought from sonic electronics for 159$ regular 700$, these guys have stupid sales and my brother and I have been shooping from them for for years now excellent service plus you can read reviews of products make your own call, mine has auto start, alarm, temp gauge, prox sensors and a turbo timer

Default Remote Start for a 6.5L TD

Mine is a Avital Model 5303. It is a alarm system with remote start, but is also does a lot of other programmable features too. I got it primarily for the remote start, but all of the other features are a extra plus to have, especially the two way remote. If the alarm is set off, I can see what has happened, door opened, glass broken or a sudden light to heavey impact. I can check out the interior temp of the cab from inside my house and open the windows or start it and cool it off or heat it up depending on the time of year it is. I got it installed at a local stereo shop for a little more than $300, Freemans Auto. Here is a link to it. Avital - Product 5303 2-Way LCD Remote Start with Security

If you already have gotten one, please tell me what kind it is and the features it has too?
