Default Bradford Built Beds

I got a BB on my truck. It's a damn nice bed and we got it brand new never used at a steal of a price cause someone had nicked one side with a forklift a little (no paint damage but it pushed the left side skirt thing in a little bit. It's actually amazing how thick the paint is on these. My buddy borrowed my truck and left in nuetral and no parking brake, so it rolled backwards about 10 feet into an old dumptruck we have on the farm. Barely any scratches on the back side of the bed.)
However, I only have one thing that is kinda like my pet peeve. Does anyone else think the sides hang over the wheels to far on these? I thought maybe it was just not the right size bed for my truck (I have a dually though..) But I have recently seen a few around town that kinda look a little wide. Thoughts?

(it's still been a hella tough bed though. And hell, it came with all the lights and we had it wired up and installed on the truck in maybe 2 hours. Seems shorter than that.)
