well do you want leaf springs or coils? the odds are, your frame already has all the holes you will need. now i beleive your year in 4WD has the D60. you might need to change the output spline on the tranny. you will need a different tranny tail cone. obviously a T- case. different rear drive shaft. please do a floor shift for the T- case. it should be a pretty straight forward swap.

yes i wanna do leaf springs an floor shifter..I was thinking it was a pretty straight forward.. but 05 4x4s are coils.. so i could find a 2000 f250 or 350 an take that front end an put it on my truck?

see that's what i'm un sure of. i think the front end of the frame is different. and it might take quite a bit of imaginearing to make it work. i would do coils and a 5 link front end. if it will take alot of work for the leafs to work.

I know that the frames were different between our farm truck (05 F250 FX4 5.4L) and my buddies 01 F250 4x4 powerstroke.

Main difference was that the frame on the 05 was higher up than the 01, yet the bottom of the rad was lower.
