Default NEED ADVICE on 2008 6.4L F350

I am really wanting to buy a 2008 F350 6.4l lariat. It has 104,000 miles and super clean. I have all of the service records and know the Ford Dealership owner. He tells me the guy bought it new and is trading for a new one. He saus the guy serviced it religiously and has had zero problems with it.

I want some advice if I should buy it. The blue book says its worth $31000 and I can buy it for 20,000. What should I do and expect?? I have never owned a diesel but really want this truck. I just don't want to make a mistake.

Here are the rules you have to follow on a 6.4 PSD
(1) Must drain water out of the fuel every month
(2) Must change oil every 5,000 miles
(3) Must change both fuel filter no later than 15,000 miles
(4) Other than letting the truck idle for a couple of minutes to cool off the turbos, DON'T idle the 6.4 for long periods, it will cause the DPF to regen more often wasting fuel & dumping fuel in your oil
If you follow these simple instructions you're 6.4 will last

If I were you I'd just delete everything. Get rid of the
DPF, EGR. Put an exhaust
and intake on it. Maybe even a Spartan tuner. You (should)
will see the MPG's go up a bit.
