My neighbor has an F350 for sale with 7.3 motor. It has 233,000 miles and he's asking $12,500. Does that sound right?? And what should I expect as far as repairs/maintenance is concerned if I buy it?

 

^^ $12,500 for it? i paid 12k for mine with 138,xxx miles. he's pretty high. how does it run? boddy straight? interior? rust? do the springs have gaps between them? highway miles or in town?

 

12500 for a 97 with 233k miles is insane... Period... Find another truck or cut his price nearly in half...

 

I paid 8300 for a 99 with 168000 that needed little things air fixed and minor rust in bed, clean interior

i forgot i was in the OBS section LOL. yeah he's way to high. talk him down to 6K or walk on!

 

hell, i'll sell ya my 95 dually crew cab with 175k on it way less than 12,500!!! it is only 2wd, but i'd never pay anywhere near that with them miles. there are alot of early 2000 years with less miles on them for less than that around here.
