Default getting started

I recently purchased a 2002 f250 7.3 4x4 crewcab that is completely stock , Im going to be getting a cold air intake, 4 inch exhaust and ive been looking at the Edge CTS Evoloution Programmmer. The reason ive been looking at this programmer is all the gauges that are part of it plus being a programmer . Is anybody running this ? The reviews that I have read say this is a good unit but im looking for some input from someone who is using it . Also some intel on cold air intakes and exhaust . Thanks for the help

Depends on the money you want to spend on the intake. Cheapest would be a diy I run an AFE stage 2. As for exhaust anything you want its all more or less the same. The edge isn't that bad but I would prefer to run custom tuning. Im not sure if PHP can still retune the edge still or not.

I looked at the edge cts, I could of got it for the same price for three gauges and pod but the deal breaker for me was you could only load I think 4 tunes on it. So I went with the autometer z series gauge and pod for 350 and my ts 6 position php tuned for 295, and I have to say glad I went that route, the programming really woke my truck up better shifting, ive only been running on 140 extreme and it's nice. I did the diy 6637 mod, gauges, and chip for around 700 installed gauges and chip and filter myself.

TS chip FTW!!! I have ran a few different tuners on the 7.3 and nothing has compared to my custom tunes by Cale with Tyrant.
