Hey gents, new member to the site! Iam looking into purchasing my 1st diesel, buying a camper and a have a boat need more power! Iam currently looking at a 2003 dodge cummins 2500 megacab short bed. It has the 6 speed manual and it is 4x4. Never programmed, original exhaust, untouched under the hood exterior and interior are almost mint:rocking. Truck is virgin with mods. The only thing that has me worried is the mileage which is 168,xxx miles. Sell price is 18,XXX. Let me know what you guys think before i go drive it! This is my 15th truck ive looked at and this the one ive been looking for!

Milage on a Cummins is never to be worried about....

Not a big fan of the CR but all Cummins motors share some heritage...

Went and checked the truck out, as soon as i popped the hood to check out the turbo and for blow by, at first glance i noticed antifreeze puddled up inside of every head bolt. At that point i knew the truck was not worth the time. Didnt even start it up. Going to look at a 2002 ext cab auto with 78xxx miles and 4 bran new tires with 1 original owner for $18xxx. Truck is completely bone stock never touched in great condition. Red in color btw. Ill keep you guys posted!!
