need help with replacing axle

Default need help with replacing axle

So i have the 97 f250 and it has the dual eyebeams in the front and its terrible. i want to get a stright axle(dana 60?) and i wanted to know what i need to get to have everything match up. It currently has a 4in lift on it right now. can anyone help?

it bolts up. i had to drill for the sway bar mounts but that's it.

would my leaf springs right now be enough for my lift size?

Make sure the Dana 60 you get is out of a 95-97 F350 it makes the job easier from what I hear. Check your lift mfg to see what it says but I'm guessing it's the same for a 250 and 350 so you should be able to just swap the lift over to the 60.

Im pretty sure you can use an axle out of a 92-97 F350. It just bolts right up. I bet if you use the springs you have now you will be closer to a 6 or 8in lift in the front.

you will either need more lift in the back or less in the front. i helped my buddy take the lift off of his 94 250 and put it on his 95 350 and it dog asses bad.
