tach sensor= tranny problems?

Default tach sensor= tranny problems?

My tranny started acting up again this time the tach is going to 0 at idle and goes back up when I accelerate could the irratic shifting be caused by the tach sensor?

New tach sensor fixed it $75 at ford semi dealership none of the others carried it and wanted $15 more now all I need is a shift kit to get rid of the soft e4od shifts
