Default more turbo whistle?

Don't take this question too seriously! (More of a theoretical quest.) I have a 93 12v with a he351ve , 4" str. pipe exh. It does whistle with the actuator closed but shuts up when I open it. I love the whistle like a early 6.0. I know it has to do with number of turbine blades (he351 has 12, early 6.0 has 9) Would there be, in theory, a way to modify the turbine wheel to get more whistle? I would obviousy never attempt this on my own due to balance and performance issues, just curious if any turbo guru's had any thoughts.

Not sure you will ever get a turbo whistle like the 6.0 in your cummins...

Put a metal tubed air intake pipe on and that will help it whistle more. Or so it seems like they do!

You do not wanna remove the silencer ring on the 6.7L vgt turbo. It will come apart the silencer ring helps keep the turbo together and machine the inside of the housing apart and them come apart.

Oops, forgot to mention I have a 4" homeade intake with an Amsoil filter and removed silencer so it howls pretty good under the hood but I like the exahaust whistle. I know the only way to get the 6.0 whistle is to have a 9 or 10 blade turbine made and I don't think that's gonna happen! If a reputable turbo shop did say a 5 or 10 deg. clip on every other blade it might work but I'm not about to ruin a good turbo for sound, that's why this wasn't a real serious question, just curious small talk

ps: The vgt doesn't use a snapring for the silencer, there's 3 pins you have to drill and punch out

Pretty much the only way to make your truck sound like a 6.oh would be buy a 6.oh...

You can get more turbo sound but a cummins will never sound, look or rattle like a powerstroke...

yup, I know but I'd kick my own as if I replaced my 5.9 with the 6.0! I did like my 01 7.3 though. The whistle has nothin to do with the motor though, it's all turbo. I know I could buy a diff. turbo that would whistle more but I like the vgt (runs cool, very quick boost, and exh brake). Like I said, just makin barstool talk, but I appreciate the comebacks.
