Just wondering if anyone could tell the cheapest way to get smoke out of my 06 5.9? I drove a 02 model and it smoked like a frieght train. The only thang I could see that it had was a little chip lookin deal, I think it was made by Dr. Diesel. The truck didn't even have a cold air intake, just a straight pipe exaust. My truck has cold air intake, straight pipe exaust and that is it and I can not get much smoke at all. Please Help!!!

 

his was smoking so much because he wasnt moving enough air and burning raw fuel. get you a good programmer. my buddies 05 with a smarty is QUICK! very for a stock truck with a programmer. but smoke isnt where the power is. its about burning what fuel you have on tap. you can stack boxes with your truck too. do you have an auto or manual tranny?

 

I would get a mads smarty programmer, it will make it pretty fast for a stock truck and will smoke tons

 

Smoke = wasted fuel. more regulations coming down on diesel owners and you making all diesel owners look like an ***.

Just zip tie a plastic bag over your air filter.

 

or you could just twin turbo it. if you make it to where you leave a bolt out of the turbo and "make your self a boost leak" it will smoke to..
