transmmission problems

i just bought a truck that has 10,000 miles on a rebuilt transmission, then today when driving it, it wouldnt shift out of 2nd know matter what it did. any suggestions as to what it is?

My truck does the same thing. Try putting it in n why going down the road and shut it off and start it back up. It works for me. I think it has something to do with are computer on the trans.
